Ryanair cashback? Yes, it is possible. This is how 2025
Ryanair cashback has always been impossible. But there’s a new loophole that allows you to grab a cashback discount on your next budget flight.
The key to earning cashback when flying Ryanair is Expedia.

How to earn Ryanair cashback with Topcashback
Earning cashback on Ryanair flights is easy – once you learn the process. First, visit TopCashback.co.uk and set up an account.
Now, whenever you book a Ryanair flight:
- Visit Topcashback.co.uk and login to your account
- Use the search function to find the Expedia page
- Click the ‘Get Cashback’ button.
When the page reloads, you can complete your booking on Expedia as normal. Your Ryanair cashback will be awarded up to 90 days after your flight.
Top tip: Disable your adblocker before starting this process to ensure your clicks are tracked properly. Adblockers can interfere with the tracking process, preventing you from collecting cashback.
How to earn Ryanair cashback with Quidco
The procedure for Quidco is roughly the same. Sign up for an account at Quidco.com. Then:
- Visit Quidco.com and login to your account
- Use the search function to find the Expedia page
- Click the ‘Get Cashback’ button.
When the page reloads, you can complete your booking on Expedia as normal. Your cashback will usually be awarded up to 90 days after your flight.
How much cashback can I get on my Ryanair flights?
Cashback rates change from time to time, with Quidco and TopCashback both offering occasional ‘boosts’. This sees the cashback rate increased temporarily allowing you to earn even more on your Ryanair flights.
At the time of publication, both cashback sites are offering 1% on flights booked through Expedia. Pretty crappy, but free money is free money.
However, there is a way to boost your Ryanair cashback earnings by 500%.
Book a ‘holiday’ to boost your cashback
Expedia allows you to book flights and hotels together, creating your own custom ‘holiday package’. Holiday packages currently earn a 5% rebate at TopCashback.
The process is exactly the same as described above – just make sure you select Packages rather than Flights when searching Expedia.
How to double your cashback on Ryanair flights
You can double your cashback by paying with a cashback credit card:
- Visit TopCashback/Quidco
- Click through to Expedia
- Make your flight/package booking as normal
- Pay with a credit card or debit card that earns cashback
Usually you will earn an additional 1% on your booking paid by your card provider.
Can you earn Avios on Ryanair flights?
Annoyingly, Expedia has left the British Airways Executive Club shopping portal, which means that there’s no chance of earning Avios on Ryanair directly. But… you could earn Avios by paying with a rewards credit card like the American Express Gold Rewards card or one of the British Airways branded cards.
Alternatively, you could choose to pay with Revolut and earn RevPoints which can be converted into Avios at a rate of 1:1.
Is it more expensive to book a Ryanair flight through Expedia?
Good question. And the answer is ‘yes’. Take these random Ryanair flights for example:
London Stansted to Szczecin return, 15th – 17th June 2025 booked direct via Ryanair (basic fare, no add-ons):

These are the same flights booked via Expedia:

Booking via Expedia seems to attract a £20 markup. Which means this flight is 23% more expensive using Expedia.
That’s a lot more than the £0.83 cashback you would earn for booking this flight.
Should I book Ryanair flights via Expedia?
The markup for Ryanair flights makes Expedia quite expensive. The cashback you earn will never cover the Expedia cost premium – even when you pay with a cashback credit card.
We would recommend booking flights with Ryanair directly, unless….
If you are booking a flights and hotel package, you will also get ATOL protection for your trip. This is not a replacement for travel insurance, but if your holiday provider (Expedia) or airline (Ryanair) goes bust, ATOL will:
- Assist you to stay in your holiday accommodation, if possible.
- Reimburse you for any money you may have spent to replace ATOL protected parts of your trip, e.g. accommodation, car hire, transfers.
- Arrange flights home, depending on the circumstance.
Very occasionally we have found that booking a flights + hotel package by Expedia works out cheaper than arranging both separately.
There is one other benefit to booking with Expedia – the OneKeyCash loyalty program. Personally, we think the Expedia Group’s loyalty program is poor value, but cashback is cashback – and you will earn some for your booking that can be used to reducing the cost of your next trip (booked with Expedia).
Which is better for Ryanair cashback, Topcashback or Quidco?
The Expedia cashback rates for TopCashback and Quidco tend to be exactly the same. Right now, neither site is better than the other.
However, TopCashback will give you a free £10 bonus if you sign up using our link.
